Just bought it, my dryerÕs controls are tight. The control from the washer is smooth ,but the dryer one is really hard. Is it normal?

Great Stackable

I have just purchased and installed this unit. So I guess I can't comment on it's dependability/durability yet. But so far, so good. It washed & dried my first few loads with no problem. My only negative comment might be that it's kinda noisy. It sits on top of a ceramic tile floor and vibrates etc like any normal washer. I'm sure the neighbors below my apt can easily tell when it's in its spin cycle. I've since purchased some anti-vibration pads (which are completely overpriced hunks of rubber). We'll see if that helps.

I bought this two months ago and I love it. Very convenient to have a stackable washer/dryer upstairs!!

Not expecting the excellence of this set - !

Bought this after much agonizing over an old stack set that I kept nursing along. I was most worried about being forced to use inadequate amounts of water to do loads of wash. Well, I am a convert! Actually, got a scratched set that is perfect. The only - and it's very insignificant after I learned to just firmly close the dryer door - thing that was problematic was the dryer not starting immediately when I closed the dryer door. That's now fine, and I am enamored with my replacement GE set. Here in Tucson, I got it for an unreal price and was easily able to add the extra warranty, based on the price of the set. Couldn't be more pleased- !

A great fit for a tight laundry space. A little too much plastic for my taste, but that's how things are built these days. Does the job it is to supposed quite well.
