I’ve owned my machines 2 1/2 years. They have had to be serviced 4 times. To get a repairman to come forget it. You call speed queen and hold on the phone forever. Expensive not worth the money. Worst machines I have ever had.

Excellent machine.

I’m a first time home owner. I always wanted my own washer/dryer. After doing extensive research I was down to SpeedQueen & LG. I decided on SpeedQueen (1) The reviews were positive (2) American made (3) 5 year warranty & (4) highly recommended by the appliance store. I have had the stackable for about a month & am very happy with it.

I bought this machine for an area built into cabinetry. I constantly have leaks in the back (water hook up) and repair company that fixes speed queen on Long Island, NY won't move machine to fix it. They want me to remove wall behind machines

Warranty is worthless

I purchased this washer and dryer in April of 2016. In August of 2017, the door lock sensor stopped working. I called several appliance repair people in my area to come out and fix it, but several of them won't work on warranty. That was literally the first question they asked me, how old was the washer. When I told them 1 year, they said they wouldn't work on it, and try calling another other appliance repair service. I finally found one, just one, who would service my area, but they can't figure out how to fix the problem. It's now been a month, and our washer and dryer still doesn't work, and I have no timetable for when it may be fixed. Seriously, the repair technician is just ordering one part at a time until he finds which one is the problem. Every time he has to order a new part, it's another week. At this point I'm feeling like a hostage to the warranty and am willing to call back to other repair shops and lie about how old the unit is just to get them to fix the thing. Truly frustrating and disappointing considering I only bought a speed queen because of their reputation for reliability and durability. Will never buy another one again and will not recommend them.
